There was an incredible stack of clouds out to sea this morning. Thick, brooding and angry looking things with a gap just above the horizon letting some magic golden light through the peep hole. On drab days like we’ve being having there always seems to be just 5 or 10 minutes out of the day when something special happens with the landscape, today it was just on sunrise, a couple of days ago it was late afternoon when a rainbow formed over the coast line (see pic below). What about the waves?? I hear some of you ask, well there are a few about the place, it always looks worse when the sun isn’t out and drizzling rain, but if you get yourself out there it will always be worth the effort. Southern protected beaches have some playful head high waves on the sets, worth an hour paddle if you have the time..
A full stretch rainbow over Moonee a couple of days ago.. think it was Tuesday?
