st surf images

Today’s main pic is of Marky Merrikin midway through stomping a large air reverse. I’ve seen the kid do truckloads of these over the last few years, but this shot (and sequence) is probably the best one I’ve got on camera so far. His success rate on landing them is damn impressive, he seems to stick more than 50%. I shot and surfed with Mark both days of the weekend and the lad is lighting up. The fanning northerly breeze on the back beach right-handers were tailor made for his aerial attack. (I will put the full sequence up on the website in the near future)
