boxing day beasts 26th dec

The predicted swell well and truly hit the Coffs coast this morning. A very large push of north-east grunt is slamming into the beaches today. Most spots are maxed out, but there is the odd point and protected cove that are throwing up something ridable. So much water moving around as it got up to a high tide around mid morning. Its going to chew into the beaches big time by the time its had its way with us. These pics are of a few brave soldiers who copted some beatings to get these “heart in the mouth” style drops.
