change over 1st june

The change over from autumn to winter happend overnight on the coffs coast. The main pic for today was taken in perfect autumn conditions yesterday. Sunshine, light offshores and a clean swell. The picture below was how it looked at 6.30am on the first day of winter, cold, overcast with a stiff southerly wind. The southerly will stick around for a few days yet and the overcast conditions look like continuing for the rest of the week, having said all that the sun is now peaking through and its starting to warm up……. we don’t really get winter around these parts anyhow.

6.30am fresh southerly winds on a shoulder high south-east swell… still worth a paddle
