The Coffs boardriders were on it this weekend, sniffing out every wave that Diggers beach could muster. Grommets young and old were charging around the lineup trying to out do their mates. The waves were in the fun range, nothing amazing but good enough to get 3 or 4 turns and keep everyone interested. I could only get down for the morning part of the day, but I heard Issac Van Anen won the A-grade division and emerald beach frother Jakob Dolan took out the under 16′s divison, keeping his 2011 season a perfect score… 3 wins from the first 3 events.. nice work Jakob!
Ian Klaus in the opens round 1 heats early yesterday morning
Matty Wyborn ripping the top off a few
Jimmi Athorn wasn’t in the comp… just went for a quick rip on his 5″3 Flanagan…. he was gettin some serious speed, considering how fat the waves were
Grommie from Port Macquarie – Jack Germain stayed a few days in Coffs, the little guy is a full tilt shredder… check out a little clip of him at the bottom of this post
