Christmas anticipation is at an all time high for surfers on the east coast this week. Forget what’s under the tree, its what’s brewing out in the Coral sea that is causing surfers to have sleepless nights thinking about what Huey is going to dish up from xmas day onwards. Yep there is potentially 3 cyclones forming, all of them well off the coast and one of them looks set to push a solid arse east swell our way. At this stage Christmas eve will be the building day with it peaking on boxing day…. but it should be on fire Chrissy day….. the season has turned!
Stormy looking start to today, with a dash of colour just before the sunrise
There was enough size to be sorta fun this morning…… it just wasn’t breaking too well
back to balmy early mornings…. the heater just got turned back on
long shutter pastels… before 5.30am
Woolgoolga boardriders won the VB club of the year competition, so the lads from surfing australia came and did a short video on the club during their final contest of the year. Cracker interview with the loveable Michael Featherstone mixed with a little bit of water footage of the the crew ripping… check it below.
Tomorrow is the last day to get any print orders done before Christmas. You can still order gift vouchers right up till Friday night for those who are un-decided. But get them orders in asap in you want it under the tree.
