The main pic for today’s post shows how good we have got it living in Australia. Waves like this were unloading on the sandbars around Coffs all morning, but no one wanted to go out!! so the hero picture for today is just an empty wave. The swell really jacked up overnight, it was luckly to be shoulder height late yesterday, but we have a fresh south swell in the mix now. Westerly winds should be light all day and the weekend is looking prime.

This is from yesterday, small clean and sunny…… today is big, grey and wild. this is the exact moment shot from the land as the last shot in yesterdays post Izzy Braly.

How cold was it this morning?…. freezing, it was the coldest morning this year. But don’t worry, Coopers have a solution…

Coopers surf center is having a four day sale starting today!! They are taking 25% off winter clothing. Yep winter clothes. Normally this time of year you can get deals on summer stuff, but the specials are on the stuff you need now, The timing is spot on, the last 3 morning have been freezing . All five stores are coming to the party, only on from Friday 11th to Monday 14th June.

Golden Breed surf shirt

Well I know its the start of winter but a few weeks ago Golden Breed gave us their new “surf shirt” to test drive. It set to be released in mid July, great timing for those heading closer to the equator for some Indo juice and the warmer weather doesn’t take long to come back into play around here either… CLICK HERE to read the review and as a little bonus there is a quick one minute video clip of their team rider Harley Ingleby ripping up some small beach break waves.
