froth 27th january

Hope everyone had a beaut Australia Day yesterday. Lots of flooding rain, stationary waves, rivers where there shouldn’t be rivers and mud slides were happening on the Coffs coast. Today’s looking much brighter, it hasn’t rained since just before dawn (some sort of record for this week) I even got a photograph of the sun this morning (pumped!!) The beaches don’t look like they used to though, With creeks and rivers spewing water, sand and debris out into the ocean, outlets have widened, water has dis-coloured and sand has moved. Should be interesting to see what sort of sandbars form as a result of all this. I reckon there could be some beach beach hollowness at some random spots up and down the coastline. Just need a change in wind direction and we will be back in business.

See… the sun did come out!!

Large Cuppuccino for this morning gull

waves are still looking  junky… not many surfing lately

sunshine makes me happy…. even if it is just for a few minutes

plenty of water on the move

wall of froth
