Just when the swell looked like fading out, it muscled back up this morning, but seemed to bring back the wonk with it. I spent the whole morning driving around to get these half dozen photos today. Sometimes it takes just a half an hour to get em…. today it took half a day. It was a case of thinking somewhere must be better, rather than just hitting up what’s in front of ya. I shot some of the images first thing this morning and the others were taken around midday (main pic taken just after 12 noon) just before the south-west wind went around to the south-east.
(7am) what it looked like at first light… there were some decent sized bombs out there today
(7.30am) Reflection
(11.50am) Harley Ingleby found some hollow ones amongst the chaos
(7.20am) long ride ahead
(about 7am) Late sunrise at the moment…. daylight saving will be put to the knife this weekend…. at last!
Don’t forget that Dean Morrison is coming to Sawtell cinema tonight, come and meet the star and watch his new profile movie “A Dingo’s Tale” I can’t wait…see ya there!….. click here for more details
