Fitting Australia-day weather in Coffs today. Super warm sunshine beating down on the beach-goers. Once again the backbeaches are the best option with this northerly wind. The groms were loving the shore breakers and there were a few dad’s out there making the most of this mid week public holiday. Just a tops day to be at the beach. Water has chilled down a little since yesterday morning, the strong northerlies last night did their upwelling thing…. on a day like today, its probably a good thing.

Coopers surf center start their massive summer sale today. It runs through till this Sunday (30th jan). Crazy bargains on summer stock. Which is perfect timing considering we are in the hottest week of summer right now, and most of us wear T-Shirts and shorts/skirts right through till May.
