It’s massive!! the low pressure storm has hit and its increasing wave heights by the minute. On the dawn inspection at an open beach it was stormy and strong but wave heights weren’t that big (maybe 5 foot) but 2 or 3 hours later the most protected corners of our coastline were pushing 4-5 foot and building. Boambee beach had whitewater to the horizon as the biggest swell of 2012 marches up the coast from the cold south. Today’s pics are all taken inside the most protected corners… these will be the smallest waves you will see today. Open beaches are a definite “write off”. Huey is angry!! go check his temper… its worth a look.
