The beaches are starting to recover this morning after a barrage of wind and swell over the weekend… hopefully that was our last burst of winter chill! no one was working on their pre-summer tan over the last few days, heck there was hardly any beach to lay a towel on, at dead low tide there was lucky to be 3 meters of sand the swell was pushing up that hard. Today the clouds are still hanging around but the swell has calmed, the winds are slowly dropping and there are a few more surf spots back in contention. Tomorrow will probably be better in our neck of the woods with better winds and a more lined swell. (main shot Harley Ingleby finding some shape inside a southern corner early today)
