lost n found 16th january

Anyone lost a boat?? found this thing washed up at me local beach on Sunday morning. A messy east swell must of got the better of this captain and sent him/her shorewards. There were a few battle scars on it, I reckon they might have had some adventures. That same messy east swell is again hampering us this morning, but today it’s got a stiff old onshore breeze making it even worse. Yep she’s a dog breakfast out there today. Can’t think of anywhere around these parts that would be remotely sheltered from the straight east wind. Best bet is to not look before you paddle out, you might just get a chip-shot-chop wedge that will give you some joy but it aint gonna look pretty wherever you go.

50% sun – 50% cloud – 100% mess is the story of the day. Suppose to get a heap of rain too… but doesn’t look too bad at the moment.
