noon 26th august

sunny, warm and bright. but there are not too many waves around. On my travels up until 12 o’clock I only spotted one goatboater, who looked to be just sitting out there enjoying the day more than trying to catch any waves. Sorry to say its just small and dribbly. But hold the bus folks… the weekend is looking a whole lot better. A new south swell will start filling in on Saturday and become quite solid by Sunday morning…. yeww!

lone rider…..12 noon

Just loaded a dozen new pics into the “Empty waves/lineups” gallery….. this is one of em.

Local surfer and budding film maker; Matt Sibbald has put together this killer short clip of Woolgoolga shredder Mark Merrikin.  The grommie is busting air reverses all over the shop…… have a look at him go!
