northern shredders 30th august

Sunny and warm with a good southerly swell is what greeted the woolgoolga boardriders for their monthly get together yesterday. We got down there around mid morning and snapped the photos that fill up today’s post. Conditions look as good this morning with gentle offshore winds and a nice southerly swell still pulsing from the weekend. I know there are quite a few tired arms this morning after our first swell in a few weeks.

Nice little rip-bowl lefthander for the woopi guys to get their shred on!!

Zane Coleman……. someone should put a sticker on this kid’s board. Ripping so hard everytime I see him. There are 3 seperate sequences of him busting big airs in the new woopi boardriders gallery. No one told him about playing it safe in a heat that’s for sure. (thats him at the top of this page and todays “home page hero

nice lefts

there was the odd barrel too

a johnny craig blast above and his backside punt below…. yeww
