Finally got the cameras back out again today, the last two mornings have being pouring rain with very little light, so its been off limits. It’s not exactly blaring sunshine today either, but the rain has stopped and the waves are much cleaner, well worth a surf during the first 3 hours of light anyhow. If that little bit of west stays in the wind it should be good all day in the protected corners.

Bill Patterson – what I did know about Bill is that he’s a top bloke, he rides a fish with a ton of style, drives an old orange kombi and works in a camera store, what I found out about Bill today is that he can handle himself at heavy reef breaks on a body board as well…. around 7am today
Sunset at North Wall last night during a rain squall
Josh Collins the only standup surfer out there this morning
john mcgee is a surfer & artist from emerald beach and is having his first solo exhibition opening this saturday night at ‘willo & wiska’ at the jetty, behind coopers. most of johns work is inspired by his life chasing waves and anyone interested in surf, art & fun is welcome to have a look between 6 & 8….. I’ve only seen a few of his works, but they look so RAD I’m going for sure, hope to see ya there!!
Got this clip off the Flanagan surfboards blog. It’s of a young who rides Jason’s boards in Tahiti…. looks like there going bloody well for him!!
