pumping tropics 17th july

Day 3 of our trip and the waves continue to pump!! We started out the day at a break named “Chickens”….. the last break of the northern atolls. The crew were lucky enough to score the morning with just us. Overhead, clean and warm, what more could you really hope for. After surfing the morning away at Chickens we moved back down the coast and anchored off a break named Sultans… glassy waves wrapping in for 100 meters or so with only 3 out! we were straight overboard and into our 2nd surf of the morning. Might go for a bit of search tomorrow. (Today’s homepage hero is Leigh Bridges)

Me mate Adam Gerhardt was the first to book on to this trip and I can tell you now he’s fricken glad he did. The little dude from Moonee (better know as Vet boy) has had a stack of epic waves already. Back home he’s a busy surfer catching just about anything that moves and over here is no different… totally frothing out and giving all 3 of his boards and good workout… just the sort a fella you want on surf trip!
