sunday WBC 28th may

After a 3-day flat spell from Thursday through to Saturday a spike in southerly swell arrived on Sunday morning… just in time for the monthly Woolgoolga boardriders hit-out. There were doubts creeping in on Saturday night if there would be enough swell to run the event, but Huey turned on some sunshine, a 3-foot south swell and a location that kept some form all day long. Another great turnout for the lads at the club with new members signing on from Wooli and as far south as South west rocks!! Darryn and Harley from Solitary Islands surf school run another great super groms program, the over 28′s and masters were stacked with numbers and the womens event hotted up with some new rippers.
