
Starting to see all the signs of a beautiful Autumn pattern developing over the last week. The nights are getting a little cooler causing the morning land breeze to brush clean the morning waves, the golden backlighting is silhouetting surfers top turns and lighting up the thin lips and the water is still super warm. All this and the prospects of ongoing east swell for weeks to come….. best time of year to be a surfer

If you are near a tele today, HD one on free to air TV has live coverage of the the Quiksilver pro on the Gold coast. First time we have had live coverage of free TV since the coke classics in the early 90′s. Men’s round 4 in the water now. Check some highlights from yesterday’s action in the clip below. Standouts were Jordy Smith, King Kelly and Matt Wilko who nearly landed and Rodeo clown flip!!!
