swell magnet 13th april

The first 3 beaches I checked this morning were a bit of yawn…knee high at best, but I’m glad I didn’t give up. I ended up finding a couple of swell magnets that were pulling every last inch out of the small east swell. The first spot I shot had some fun ramps, perfect for Harley Ingleby’s forehand punts (see above) but after shooting we found a empty beachie to surf that was easy head high, maybe bigger on the sets…. didn’t expect that we I first looked this morning…. a bit of searching paid off today.
