Monday morning has started out dark and rainy but it was another weekend of bangin beach weather. Waves were really fun on the Saturday morning with the southerly winds and newly formed sandbars throwing up some joy for those in the know. By late afternoon on Saturday the wind switched to the north and the backbeaches became the main focus. First up Sunday morning some of those backbeaches were super fun, but by mid morning that energy was starting to fade…. it was right ab0ut the time I got the camera out the swell started to disappear…. forecasts are looking on the small side for the next few days, maybe some more south swell arriving Thursday.
