Our windy week continues….. its been blowing a fresh south-wester since Saturday afternoon and doesn’t look like easing up for a while yet. The air and water temps are still pretty good but each morning this week has looked like a stormy winters day. The Coffs coast has been lucky enough to have had a fair amount of west (offshore) in the wind direction, this has kept a few of the swell grabbing open beaches in reasonable shape, but autumn is renowned for sunny mornings with light winds and arvo glass offs, but it hasn’t happened this week….bring on the autumn swells and bugger off wind.
This pic taken yesterday morning… about 10am, it was windy then too
