One of the more poetic films of this year, and shot with a truly artistic and creative eye, Intentio is almost a spiritual journey which utilises the ocean and those who surf it as a backdrop to life’s bigger picture. Intentio, through the senses of Loic Wirth, is a masterpiece and expressed in his own words as “The funny thing about fairy tales, is that we forget about them so fast And we grow up, we buy things, we build up fences We sell our innocence and forget our dreams We forget who we are in order to be something we’re not And we’ll keep believing in this so called truths, until we forget how to live Or until we open our eyes, and wake up.”

The film stars Marco Giorgi, Craig Anderson,Cristian Muller, Fernando Moura, Gabriel Medina, Jean da Silva, Jeronimo Vargas, Gabriel Muller, Ian Gouveia, Ricardo Santosand Chippa Wilson and is shot in New Zealand, Uruguay, Indonesia, France, Hawaii, Brasil and California. All elements if this film including Photography, Editing, Filming and Direction are by Loïc Wirth Narration by Vernon Deck.

Another well shot & edited surf film with a little bit of a deeper look into how surfing sets us free (at times) from the everyday people in the western world. Its the old surfers turns his back on society to live a life worth living rather than earning a living type message, one that most of us have either pursued or at the very least thought about a lot!! Its a bit arty with some impressive landscapes, travel scapes and mental surfing…. I liked it….. check the trailer below
