We have just teamed up with The Perfect Wave surf travel which will send our little website overseas to some ideal surfing locations from this year and onwards….. and you’re invited!!!

Everyone who comes on-board with our trips will be photographed everyday of their trip and the images are yours to keep forever at high resolution. Not only that but our daily posts will be beaming back home everyday, so the rest of the world can see what an awesome trip you are having.

The Maldives is our first destination and the dates are from the 14th July – 25th July and we are going to be on-board one killer looking boat for 7 of the days followed by 3 days at a land camp which has a crazy righthand reef breaking right infront of this small, idyllic island….. sounds like something you’d be keen on?? read on…

Description

Haira is a top quality charter boat – only just built for the 2007 season. She requires a minimum of 8 passengers for an exclusive charter, and can accommodate up to 18, but prefers to charter with a maximum of 14. She is very spacious with 3 levels of rooms & entertaining areas. There is a restaurant, bar & lounge – with a state-of-the-art entertainment system including large flat screen TV, DVD player, and connection for your Ipod. On the next level there is a funky disco bar with dance floor & open terrace/sunset deck. For those keen on soaking up the rays there are sun decks out the front on the second level and out on the roof.

Captain & Crew

At the head of 5 crew, you’ll find the licensed captain. He is ultimately in control of the safari. Haira’s captain has decades of experience boat chartering in the Maldives. He is supported by a second in charge, boat boys, and a full time chef. One boat boy will be in charge of guest services and one will be a dinghy boy and in charge of anchoring. The crew are all local Maldivians so know the area extensively and you can be confident of their skills & expertise. One of most important part of any surf charter is the surf guide. On the Haira, we have a full-time Australian surf guide onboard to ensure you have the best surf trip of your lives. Your surf guide will be Brian James, who has been surfing himself for over 40 years and has 10 years of experience surf guiding in the Maldives. Brian has adopted the Maldives as his home for most of the year and even owns the first surf camp in the Maldives “Cokes Surf Camp” . So with Brian in charge of your trip you are in some of the best hands possible.

Insurance Notes: We use QBE Travel Insurance. Their fully comprehensive NIL excess international policy includes $700 per item board cover for boards damaged or broken whilst in use. Boards must be less than 3 years old and you must have a receipt or valuation less
