Woolgoolga boardriders had one massive year in 2011!! with the biggest highlight coming a few weeks ago when they were named “VB club of the year” entries came in from every state around Australia except for Queensland and our little club from Woopi beat them all!!
The club President “Michael Featherstone” lead from the front with countless hours of work, meetings and organising. Committee members like John Craig (vice president) Michelle Merrikin, Glen Coleman, Brett Pillon, Mitchell Frost, Adam Ratcliff and many others all donated stacks of their time to make this club what is has become.

The under 14′s top 4 trophy winners!!

Stoked!! the WBC club gave me a skateboard for my hard work behind the lens this year…frothing!!

Summo wrestling was  a hit with the grommies.. they were going hard!

winners are grinners! John Craig takes out first place in the opens division and earnt himself $800 and a sweet esky for his troubles. There were so many prizes given out on the day it was awesome. Two trips to the Gold coast, surfboards, T-shirts, sunnies, hampers, cash, all sorts of loot!

Possibly the happiest dude on Saturday, this is Jai who took out the under 14′s division and won himself a brand new surfboard!! He’s is also a legendary helper on club days, so karma has come to you champ…enjoy!
