golden breed – super rashie

The good folk at Golden Breed sent us down their latest product line a few weeks back. It’s called the “Super Rashie”!!

As the name would suggest it’s a rash shirt to wear in the ocean, but this one has a little useful twist. The front or chest part of this the rashie is made from 2mm neoprene. I am guessing the neoprene isn’t necessary for the warmth (although it does keep the chilly breezes at bay) it is more so to give the ribs a buffer when paddling and to eliminate the nipple and tummy rash that some folk get from wearing T-shirts. The Super Rashie comes in two sizes only a Mens (S-XXL) covers right through the range (nice and stretchy, if needed) and youth size (8-14) which fits the grommets and the petite ladies out there.

Wore it for two long surfs over the weekend and it was super comfy. No rashes, the black material warmed my back nicely in the sunlight, still cool enough in the warm water despite the neoprene front panel…… so yeah its a very decent product.
